EVAN WICKLUND
COO & Partner
Evan Wicklund’s entrepreneurial journey began at age 12 when he started a lawn-cutting business in his neighborhood. While attending university, he successfully ran a painting franchise for three years before spending five years in finance. In 2013, he followed his passion for construction and property services by opening a painting company. Over the past 12 years, that company has grown to offer a wide range of services. Evan is married with two young boys and enjoys playing golf whenever his schedule allows.
CLAUDIO MATTRICIANO
VP Drywall & Partner
Claudio Mattricianno, born and raised in Italy, honed his skills as a master drywaller and successfully ran his own company for many years. In 2017, he moved to Canada through Ascent’s sponsorship program and has since become one of the company’s owners. Claudio oversees all drywall operations at Ascent, managing multiple project managers and ensuring every project meets the highest standards. He personally reviews all estimates and stays hands-on with projects from inception to completion. Outside of work, Claudio is a passionate car enthusiast, particularly fond of classic cars.
JACK QU
Senior Estimator
Jack is a highly skilled senior estimator with over five years of experience in both commercial and residential drywall construction. His expertise in delivering accurate cost estimates, coupled with his use of tools like On-Screen Takeoff (OST) and QuickBid, allows him to manage bids from start to finish. Jack excels in interpreting project plans, negotiating with suppliers and contractors, and securing competitive pricing. His attention to detail and ability to build strong client relationships ensure project success across a wide range of construction projects.
